UNDERSTANDING ANTIMONY

A small element.
A significant role.

From flame-retardant materials to batteries and metal alloys, antimony has a place in many products used in everyday life and industry.

It is commonly recovered from stibnite and is recognized by Canada as a critical mineral. Beaver Brook’s geology also reflects antimony’s association with gold in parts of central Newfoundland.
